DIA 18: “Uma música de um disco do ano em que você nasceu”

Essa foi difícil, pois, 1970 foi um grande ano!

Pensei em “Vou Deitar e Rolar (Quaquaraquaqua)”, de Elis Regina (do disco “Em Pleno Verão”) e “Gente Humilde”, música que Garoto compôs em 1945, e que Vinicius e Chico colocaram letra em 1970. Pensei em “My Fathers Gun”, de Elton John (“Tumbleweed Connection”), muito por causa do filme “Elizabetown”, de Cameron Crowe. Pensei em Bowie, Led, Sabbath, Milton, Jorge Ben e Paulinho da Viola.

Cogitei fortemente “Working Class Hero”, de John Lennon (e cheguei, inclusive, a baixar a versão ao vivo da Tin Machine, de David Bowie), e sondei Velvet, Nico, Nick Drake e Syd Barrett. Também pensei em Mutantes e Rita Lee, e, claro, em Bob Dylan.

E também em Neil Young, alguma coisa do clássico “After the Gold Rush”, mas o escolhido foi uma de “Déjà Vu” (álbum de Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), mas do filme/concerto “The Last Waltz”, filmado por Martin Scorsese e, nessa versão, com participação da The Band e de Joni Mitchell. Incrível.
