Chegaram na sexta-feira aqui em casa os três volumes que faltavam da série “Collectors Edition”, do Radiohead. No primeiro pacote lançado em janeiro vieram os três primeiros álbuns (”Pablo Honey”, “The Bends” e “Ok Computer” – veja aqui). Agora é a vez de “Kid A”, “Amnesiac” e “Hail To The Thief” baixarem nas lojas em belíssimas edições de luxo. Agora só fica faltando “I Might Be Wrong – Live Recordings” do catálogo da Parlaphone, já que “In Rainbows” foi lançado pela própria banda.

“Kid A” ganhou um segundo CD imperdível (com 13 registros ao vivo, 12 deles inéditos em programas como no Evening Session, da BBC Radio 1, no Lamacq Live in Concert e no Canal + Studios, em Paris) e um DVD que poderia ser dispensável, se os três vídeos da banda tocando “The National Anthen” (com direito a um septeto de metais – assista aqui), “Morning Bell” e “Idioteque” ao vivo no Jools Holland não fossem fenomenais.

“Amnesiac” ressurge na capa de pano vermelha da edição de luxo, mas dentro traz o encarte com a capa original e um segundo CD com todos os b-sides dos singles “Pyramid Song”e “Knives Out” mais seis registros inéditos ao vivo nos estúdios do Canal +, em Paris. O DVD aqui é caprichado com 47 minutos de duração que compilam quatro clipes do álbum, dois registros no Top of The Pops e mais quatro números da mesma sessão matadora no Jools Holland (a integra aqui).

Fechando o pacote, “Hail To The Thief” aposenta no segundo CD a ótima coletânea japonesa “Com Lag” (escrevi dela aqui) com suas dez faixas presentes aqui e acrescenta uma demo de “There There” mais “Go To Sleep” ao vivo no programa de Zane Lowe e “Sail To The Moon” em registro na BBC Radio1. O bom DVD junta quatro clipes do álbum, quatro registros vivo no Jools Holland (incluindo “There There” – assista aqui) mais “2+2= 5? ao vivo em Earls Court. E um poster da edição especial.

Com estas seis edições “Collectors Edition”, a Parlaphone raspa o tacho de tudo que o Radiohead lançou quando em contrato com o selo. Estão aqui todos os b-sides da banda entre 1992 e 2003, todos os videoclipes oficiais, o registro ao vivo de um show inteiro no Astoria em 1994, o registro em áudio de um show inteiro no Canal +, de Paris, em 2001, mais 16 vídeos ao vivo no Jools Holland entre 1995 e 2003 mais apresentações no Top of The Pops, no 2 Meter Session (assista “Fake Plastic Trees” aqui e “High and Dry” aqui) e outras coisas perdidas.
